About Me

Andrew Maas is a man in his thirties. He was born in Portland Oregon, and spent his first 25 years living in that area. Since then, he has also lived in Southeast Idaho, Central Illinois, and Eastern Washington. (USA)

He has two college degrees, a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Portland State University, and a Master of Science in Nuclear Science and Engineering from Idaho State University.

For work history, Andrew has worked at a car dealership, for a small business that made video test equipment, as a graduate student researcher for a university and a national lab, as a reactor operator for a research reactor, an equipment operator, a senior reactor operator trainee, as a non-licensed operations field supervisor, and now as an Ops Procedure Writer. (the final 4 all at nuclear power plants)

Andrew has found a new passion for life in the form of introspection, the nature of the world, human nature, nature itself, self-help, helping others, spirituality and self expression.

Better late than never.

Better to have tried and failed, than to have never tried at all.

Failure is only a loss when its lessons are not learned. Every experience is an opportunity for growth, if we have the courage and self awareness to see it.

Sometimes the best place to look, when trying to figure out what went wrong in our lives, is in the mirror.

The best place to look for happiness and fulfillment, is right here, right now. Right now is all you ever have.
