My Review of the Lifebook Program
In September of 2022, I needed a boost in my life. I needed direction, something to hope for. I was out of work for medical reasons, in the middle of a divorce, and frankly in a mid-life crisis of sorts. Lifebook offered something I had been looking for my whole life. A way to plan and structure your life, in such a way that accounted for 12 important areas of life:
Health & Fitness
Intellectual
Emotional
Character
Spiritual
Love
Parenting
Social
Financial
Career
Quality of Life
Life Vision
Jon and Missy Butcher have done a fantastic service to the world by bringing this program to the masses. Lifebook stands in direct opposition to everything that went wrong in the first 33 years of my life. I, like many others, chose to prioritize certain life categories over others, in a self-destructive way, and it lead to major setbacks. I had the big salary, the family, the house, the car, and enough disposable income to have some fun once in awhile. Sadly, I also had no health and fitness, my emotional health was being rapidly destroyed, my marriage was collapsing, my ability to parent was declining due to my health situation, my social life had become non-existent, and my vision for the future was bleak.
Where Lifebook truly stands out from other self-development programs, is that not only does it deliver a balanced approach to a holistically good life, it also makes YOU the author of your own destiny. Jon and Missy will make many suggestions, as well as sharing the best of what other Lifebookers have come up with, but at the end of the day, you get to decide what to put in your Lifebook. When you finish your first draft, you get to look back at what you wrote, and know that you chose the ideals by which you live your life.
There is a sense of personal investment that comes from doing self-development this way, that other programs I have taken lack. As my life situation continues to remain in this challenging chapter, I often review my Lifebook, to help me find my direction again, remind myself what is important to me, and to get back the sense of hope that comes from the ability to craft a better future.
If you are serious about crafting a great, balanced, life for yourself, I cannot recommend this program enough. Check it out for yourself, and see what you think.
